School Celebrates Garden
The Upi Elementary School community recently celebrated the completion of a gardening project that has done more than beautify the school grounds.
The project -- completed by the school's Go Green Club under the leadership of fifth-grade teacher Luwaina Martinez and with the full support of the administration, parents, the Yigo Mayor's office, and the University of Guam's 4-H Program -- has brought together a community and helped improve student attendance.

4th Grade Teachers Donate 2 Megaphones:
On behalf of the Upi school community, we are thankful of your generous gifts to the school. Though we may not have a bell & alarm system, the megaphones will help us tremendously for evacuations/announcements for safety reasons!
